| How to fix |
Banana Ball
You have two problems to deal with. First you have to change the path the club is on when it hits the ball. To do this make yourself a Swinggate.
 |
The Drifter There is only one reason you slice the ball. The club face is open at impact. There is only one reason why it is open. It is open because your grip does not allow you to return the club squarely to the ball at impact. The quick fix buy a pair of the Griperfect
gloves. They will show you how to position the club in the palms of both hands. The gloves will
also show you how to align your hands with the club correctly. The result - straighter, longer
shots. You will stop hitting the ball a 'glancing blow'. You will also discover the sweet spot
in the club face.

The Double Right You have two problems to deal with. First you have to change the path the club head is on when it hits the ball. To do this make yourself a Swinggate.

| Scratch a straight line a yard or metre long on the ground. Put tees in the ground about 6 inches (15cm) apart on either side of the line. Position the tees so they form a shallow arc. Refer the diagram above. Leave a gap of 2 inches (6cm)
on either side of the club head. Start swinging! Your aim is to swing the club head through the
gate without hitting the tees. When you do this you may become aware of changes in your swing. 50 swings through the gate without clipping a tee and you will be well on your way to changing the path the club takes through impact. It will be swinging in the direction you want it to be going - down
the ball target line. Your second aim is to stop hitting the ball with the club face open. There is only one reason why it is open. It is open because your grip does not allow you to return the
club face squarely to the ball at impact. The quick fix - buy a pair of the Griperfect gloves. They will show you how to position the club in the palms of both hands.
